Funding
Secured $158,090 in grants from Leverett’s Community Preservation Act and Mass Cultural Facilities Fund for planning and development work on the heritage park and sawmill building. A $20,000 pledge from Greenfield Cooperative Bank also supports this work. Secured a $683,500 National Park Service Semiquincentennial grant for initial rehabilitation work on the sawmill building.

Board of Directors
Built out a community and volunteer-led Board of Directors who to date have donated $15,000 and 250+ hours towards sawmill preservation.

Tapped community talent and hosted community-based conversations about the project's vision.
